Have never visited this grp so appologies if this has been asked before:
I have a Christmas train layout that I would like to start/stop
electronically.  The train is on an oval track.  It runs through my little
town and then dissapears into a tunnel.  Here is what I would like to ...

I see 10 lattice pieces per sprue, but how many sprues are in a pack?

ps thinking about taking back my bachmann set and getting one of those

second Q in as many minutes,
thinking of getting a mamod live steam loco, and running a garden railway,
i've noted that you can get the mamod loco's in gauge O and gauge 1 for
about £25 differance.

Some might already know what's afoot, and I would not expect them to
break any non-disclosure agreements, but what are peoples
expectations, wishes or pipe dreams for the coming modelling year?

I've been waiting for this to appear for some time, and I understand it was

Another little detail to add to your yard: a mailbox.
No kidding. I've seen them at a couple places around here (Bay Area);
just the standard metal rural batting-practice box mounted on a 4x4 post.

I'm working on my first model and I'm trying to paint it, but I'm not
getting very good results.

How do people feel about mixing Trix [w/ the Kadee conversion coupler
design] with American models [i.e Atlas, Kadee, Walthers, etc.]? I like a
couple of the North American car offerings by Trix, but I am unsure about
the odd looking coupler assembly. I am sure it works perfectly ...
