the stack.  I know that the generator is right in front of the cab, so

When I put an original N-scale Kato GP9 (circa 1990) alongside a newer
Atlas GP7, the GP9 measures 2 ft longer.  Most of the difference is in
the long hood, but the short hood is slightly longer as well.

We put the trains away in the early 90's, and now that the boys are off to
college, they developed a renewed interest in them.
So I started looking around online, visiting a few hobby shops (those that
are left, that is...), and it seems that the Lionel / K-Line / MTH /

What clubs are around the area that have an active membership ... if not in

The Commisioners cars  of the AAH type, were they alwaysd  painted the dark
brown colour or were they painted the venetian red livery, and what was the
purpose of the darker brown colour.
