I have aquired a Hornby model of a Class 90 loco, numbered "90 028" which needs a few pieces replacing, and possibly just a whole new body shell. Unfortuntely though from looking on the bottom All that is printed is "Hornby" in itaics, and no RXXX number is shown.

In the UK train drivers must spend time 'learning road' and then sign to confirm that they know the route(s). They are then allowed to drive trains on that route without any other person in the cab. Does the same apply to route knowledge in the US/Canada. Do they till

I want to model an open structure type station platform, either wooden or prefab concrete type, in 4mm scale. Does any manufacturer produce this kind of platform? A scan through numerous websites has found any number of different platform kits, but nothingof this type,
