Stripping Classic Metal Works lettering and paint25 Mar 2006 08:18 GMT4
I've got a Classic Metal Works tractor/trailer set which I'd like to strip
the paint and lettering.  Does anyone have advice on working with these
specific models?
The tractor is die cast metal-- if possible I'd like to remove the lettering
why are modelling DVDS so bloody dear!!!???25 Mar 2006 07:28 GMT3

living but I reckon these prices are a rip. I am ...

Minor ebay gripe24 Mar 2006 01:14 GMT49
Is it just me or do you think that the seller on ebay should always leave
feedback for the buyer BEFORE the buyer does for the seller?
If I win an auction and pay promptly that is all the seller needs to base
his/her comments and feedback should be left immediately. Too many ...
Controller recommendation23 Mar 2006 17:49 GMT12
Since my H&M controllers are at least 20 years old
and haven't been used too much recently (although
they still seem to work well enough), I'm a bit
leery of trusting them too much.
Bachmann "Billy" Experience?23 Mar 2006 16:11 GMT1

BRC&W 110 to 104 - easy?23 Mar 2006 13:40 GMT4
Just wondering about the above conversion, should there ever be a need
for a suitable DMU on my layout (having sold my repainted/detailed
Tri-ang Metro-Cammell one a while ago; maybe not such a good idea after
all, but then it was a bit on the short side). At first glance it

what is the correct measurement for my OO, standard Hornby settrack?
I've heard 14.2mm to 14.5mm, though this was for Code 75 track.
Introduction and q on scales22 Mar 2006 21:14 GMT12
I'm 39 now, and alas find that all my HO stuff from the 70's succumbed
to flooding (still being in boxes on my now retired parents' basement
floor). Such is life. Now with 2 and 4 year old sons of my own, it's
time to get back into model trains. YES! Thanks Polar Express.
