Hello, knows someone advice? I acquired a Live Steam locomotive with the inscription 76 aster number 607417. Unfortunately the lower firing container and the description are missing. I need a building sketch and/or a left for this.

| Airfix/Dapol Diesel Crane | 12 Mar 2006 21:58 GMT | 15 |
Doing a little searching online, I can't find any reference to a crane of this type on bogies. I presume it is actually based on an eight wheeled Booth design used on the Western Region, in all other respects it looks very similar.

| Bought my first American train today | 12 Mar 2006 20:59 GMT | 1 |
For the grand stonking total of £19.09 ($32.94) You struggle to get 2nd hand ones for that price in the UK yet this one is, apparently, brand new with a manufacturers warranty. Still, it was an E-Bay buy so I'll believe it when - or maybe even if! ;) - I

Are there any proprietry 12mm diameter wagon wheels readily available that could be slid off their (2mm) axle to be fitted on a non-common existing 2mm axle with knurling? Unbushed metal wheels won't do the job - as in one wheel insulated, one

| Rock Island Locomotive | 12 Mar 2006 07:05 GMT | 5 |
I received a photo of a futuristic looking streamlined locomotive with Rock Island on the side. I presume it is from the 1930s and wonder if anyone can lead me to a source of more information. With thanks in advance VIN

| Miniature fire effect. | 12 Mar 2006 02:15 GMT | 11 |
This past Christmas I noticed in craft shops some artificial tea light candles that consisted of a plastic base the shape and size of a tea light and a little plastic or rubber (?) "flame" on top with a LED inside which the package claimed flickered like a real flame. Operation

| Tank transport | 11 Mar 2006 23:34 GMT | 19 |
Does anyone know how the Army move tanks around these day? If by rail, what are the wagons like and who owns them? I guess the Warwells and Rectanks have long gone. Tim.

| Winfixer and other Problems at Dc3d.co.nz website | 11 Mar 2006 23:21 GMT | 4 |
It appears people are supposedly having problems on my website, re the download of a FREE model that is passworded and the accusations that a program called Winfixer is connected to my site. When I read the comments I was dismayed that the people concerned did

| HO steam shovel | 11 Mar 2006 21:19 GMT | 6 |
Hoping someone here can help me. I'm looking for a small steam shovel in HO scale. Absolutely nothing shows up in any of the listings on the Walthers site. Are there any manufacturers of what I'm looking for that are not with Walthers? Whether I have to build it is not a problem. ...
