Difference between WRENN & DUBLO08 May 2006 11:44 GMT10
Hi again all
Just wondering why there is such a difference in value of say a Wrenn 8F and
a Dublo of the same variety - are the Wrenn that much better than their
Dublo ancestors?

Remember how expensive those little buggers are? I just got a catalog

'warning level' on Railpage - what a crock!08 May 2006 06:35 GMT8
I never thought I'd see something like this...
I have just logged into RailPage and there is a PM waiting which is
telling me I now have a 'warning level' of 5 percent for starting another
thread on an already-locked topic (the screw-coupler thread). Come on guys
I saw him do it..08 May 2006 00:37 GMT3
Jesus is alive and living on Hornsey Road London N7. He is at no 287 -
opposite the new chicken shop. He doesn't seem all that friendly to me
...don't know where everyone got the idea that he was all peace and
love...he was drunk last night and slashing up the side of the paper shop ...
Who is Jesus07 May 2006 23:49 GMT55
Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the

If you've been needing an excuse to buy some model railroading

Can anyone suggest how I might solve this problem with the press-fix decals
in a Slater's kit I'm building. The b*gg*rs just don't want to stick to my
painted wagon with "firm finger pressure" as the instructions say they
should. Anyone got any tips for getting these things to work? ...

I am building a layout to run my LNER stock on.
It will have up and down main lines, a branch line and various sidings
Would the ballest have been the same as it is today, or would it have varied

Atlas custom-line remote turnouts05 May 2006 02:36 GMT10
I built a layout back in the 70s, and used Atlas custom-line nickel silver
remote turnouts.  These have insulated auto switching powered frogs, and the

Quick question - L&Y 2-4-2T drivers04 May 2006 09:54 GMT2
Very quickly - what size driving wheels should the above have in 4mm
scale? I'm fairly sure they were 5'8" diameter on the real thing, so
does 23mm dia. sound about right for a 00 model?
Thanks in advance,
