I was reading recently (can't recall the item) that a RR painted its equipment tuscan red until 1918 when it adopted Pullman green as its passenger color in accordance with a USRA dictate. I had not heard this before, but I believe some other RRs also went from brighter schemes ...

Hello, a few years ago I dealt with a fellow who repairs/trades Lionel trains, here in Colorado Springs. I can't remember his name! It's not Sunbird/Discount Trains, but a guy who works out of his house. Any clues would be much appreciated.

Just been told today that Peco are to add a 4th radius curve into their OO-gauge Setrack range. The actual radium wasn't quoted but I would guess it would be approaching 24 inches. A 3rd radius curve is also planned for N-gauge.

You'd think the answer to such a simple question would be readily available, but dang if we can find it: We want to buy an Atlas-O diesel engine (Model# 1112-3). The description for this engine says "Kadee-compatible couplers".
