Having spent a week in Durango and then Dolores I am in llove with the
Rio Grande Southern. I am sure there are lots of books, but which ones
would give me good pictures and line drawings?

This site appears to cover more of the uk than google earth.
I could not see the Great Central at Loughborough on google earth but
can on here, plus lots more railway locations.

Bachmann 9Fs are sitting in the warehouse at Barwell but they are not going
to ship them to the trade until after next weekend's Bachmann Open Days.

Did you see the film on BBC2 this afternoon?  It was "The Password is
Courage" starring Dirk Bogarde, made in 1962.
It was set in a German POW camp during the Second World War.  I was amazed
to see a Stanier 3-cylinder 2-6-4T masquerading as a German engine -

I have been having trouble with Con-Cor horn-hook couplers.  The
couplers are very loose and come apart very easily.  Backing the
passenger cars is out of the question and there is no guarantee that
they will make it once around the layout without letting loose leaving

Hi Gang.  I will be travelling south to visit my Mother in Bishop's
Stortford next week.  Does anyone know if the above shop still exists?
Last time I was in the area, the shop was near Sawbridgeworth station,
behind the antiques centre, selling both new and second hand railways.
