Plese can someone enlighten me as to what type of paint the Halfords touch up sticks are please? Be it Acyllic, Enamel etc?? And also are the small pots of Revell paints available from toy shops suitable for air brushing the bodies of RTR model trains (Hornby etc..) ??

I have old British clockwork Hornby trains, (I think that's scale O). The clock works are weak, and I was thinking of buying an electric engine and then altering it by rigging up a battery pack to it to allow it to run on the non-electric tracks I have.

While nothing is official yet, I'm "considering" demolishing my current layout (15x19) and replacing it with a smaller, more manageable one. I should have built a smaller one in the first place. A layout that size is a pretty large undertaking for one person... at least it is ...

I have noticed with quite a few Bachmann 00 locos a side to side wobble when running. Panniers / 08's / Jitneys, in fact most 030 chassis. Can this problem be corrected.

I have a Bachmann Hall (late version as 6990 "Witherslack Hall" whioch has developed loose driving wheels on the front axle. Any ideas of a fix please? A gentle push on wheel centre does not seem to help.
