I have an Atlas/Kato RS-3 that generally runs fine.  Today
durring open house it was derailing on turnouts.  One of the
trucks would try to take the diverging route.  While re-railing
the engine after one of it's jumps, I noticed that there seemed

Garratt. At the time I remembered having some detailed engineering drawings
of an AD60 but I couldn't find them. Now I have so if whoever that was is

I'm looking for a brick colored paint to paint (using an airbrush)
plastic models of buildings.  None of the Model Master colors that I've
seen seem right.  Too red or too glossy.  Has anyone found a good
brick-like color to use????

Have pourchased some Carama models (they are selling landrovers and Transit
vans at Poundland for a pound a go) - Problem is I cannot see how to detach
the car from mthe plastic base - First go (pulling) damaged the base of the

I have recently purchased some Bachmann and Athearn locos which I find
facinating, however, there is of course the problem of Buckeye type
tension lock couplings.
Is there a simple way of changing these for the more conventional type

For those of you not using a DCC system on your layout... why not?
Is it because your layout is already operating fine with conventional power;
the cost of converting; the effort to convert your existing locos; your club
has decided not to use DCC; etc.?

Morning all..
Anyone fitted a decoder to a new Hornby M7 yet. I tried a digitrax
PS123 Z scale on and cant find a good place to put it so the body will
go on again. Any ideas guys?
