Here it goes again, maybe it's me that doesn't understand but as of
this post it's 7 days left and it's up to $400 +.
I wouldn't pay the $50 shipping cost fopr that crap.
What am I missing this time ?

I have a cast iron train along with a few cars that have the marking
W&ARR on them. The trains are a little rusty, and have been weathered.
Can anybody recommend how to restore these? Should I remove the rust,
and treat them with light oil? etc....

Anyone know what has happened to RMWeb (http://www.rmweb.co.uk/)?

One of those "back burner" projects finally got started this past week. It's

I'm going to be painting a couple of undecorated RS-1s in the ATSF
Zebra Stripe scheme.  I'm using decals for the diagonal stripes,
but I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on painting the
white line that runs along the top of the hood?

Looking at the few brake vans I have, I can see at least three
positions where a tail lamp can go. Looking at pictures in the model
press, I see that modellers put tail lamps on their brake vans in
various arrangements. Is there some logic to this?

Anyone any idea when we may see these on the market ?
Anyone heard them yet and can comment on the quality ?

Im currently in the process of building 'Bredon'  on page 24 which features
in the Setrack Planbook OO/HO with slight modifications. The modifications
are basically using radius 2 (instead of 1) for the inner and 3 for the

I am making an InterMountain 18 rib covered hopper and I am going to
add a raised false bottom and leave the hatches open.  What is a good
item to use for the grain?  What color is it when it comes out of the
silo?  Thanks.

Without wishing to start a flame war, is there anyone out there with any
further info (and willing to share it) on the statement on the Powerline
website that they will be unable to offer T class (if and when it gets here)
in either CFCLA or SSR liveries because apparently those ...

Looking for a power bogie frame for the above loco and a buffer. Preferably
