I have one or two mobile phone chargers that I no longer use. Can these
be used  to power LED's?
One I have states 220V input with output of 5V 500mA. Would this be
powerful enough and would the output be smooth enough?

Interesting little bit on new bachmann EZ DCC system in the magazines news
section. Only 3 -4 paragraphs but glowing description - one particular
sentance :-

Has anyone come across this stuff in the UK?
There was an article in the September 1994 issue of Model Railroader
about building roadbed with something called Micore 300, which is a
mineral fibre board, made with slag from the steel industry.

Anyone know where one can get discounted plaster cloth?  I'm in need of
several rolls and the WS option would be kind of expensive.  From time to
time, Hobby Lobby has had their train stuff on sale and they do let you get
rainchecks.
