Whens Hornby DCC release ?07 Oct 2006 20:56 GMT14

It's about the real ones, so forgive me07 Oct 2006 08:26 GMT19
but I dont know where to start. It's a simple question I would have
thought, but I'm running into a brick wall. Travelling to Britain in
July 2007, part of my activities - including visiting model railway
shops :-) - requires me to travel from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Now, I
Gluing Rails to wood?07 Oct 2006 04:43 GMT4
I've Scratch built a 5 bay roundhouse for my Grandson's HO layout. The
bottom is Mahogeny veneer and we want to glue the copper rails directly
to that. What type of glue is recommended for that and should I paint
it first?

it looks like this flextrack (ME-12108) is out of production at Micro
Engineering. Does any member of this group know more about it and maybe
a dealer/somebody who has stock of that Flextrack. I am desperately
looking for it for a while now.

RMWeb is down... Again!06 Oct 2006 18:13 GMT10
Looks like RMWeb2 has gone the same way as its predecessor as it seems to

All that is now appearing is a Windows log on box and very little else.

Seeking details of a trader06 Oct 2006 09:48 GMT3

Thanks,
American HO05 Oct 2006 23:24 GMT11
I would like to build an American layout HO scale.
Can anyone advise me on  what rail companies I can run on a layout
especially if I build a switching yard or fiddle yard.
Any advice would be appreciated.
UP steam lettering - white or silver?05 Oct 2006 21:03 GMT3
I've tried magnifying glasses on all the color photos I can find, but I just

lettering is slightly gray which could be either dirty white or dulled
silver.  I've tried the UPHS site, Google and the model train ...

Model Railroader magazine sent me a survey by email on Tuesday night (I'm a
subscriber to the magazine).  Did anyone else receive it? Your thoughts on
the questions?
I thought the questions were adequate... mostly they asked for ranking of

It concerns here the largest European modelrailroad according to the real
Layout on bookshelves idea05 Oct 2006 15:11 GMT5
I'm about to strike out with my first layout after a childhood of
helping build my dad's American N-gauge empire.
To start things off I'm buying some Kato Unitrack for a simple track
plan that I can get on the dining room table with the permission of
