On show at the West Ryde shop are factory painted, production samples of
both the Indian red and the Candy 47s. I'm told that there will be one of
each scheme operating on the Gunning layout this weekend at Hurstville. And
you thought the 44s were great .............. !!! Hopefully, ...
Atlas #4 turnout with switch machines  -  Sticking04 Oct 2006 22:35 GMT12
I just put in 9 turnouts and I hooked up one to test. It sticks and will not

Tortoise Switches04 Oct 2006 20:20 GMT8
Has anyone got any experience of the reliability of the switches
provided on Tortoise point motors?    I've just made up a set of
turnout operating units to go with my Tortoise motors and I was

Repainting Hornby locos04 Oct 2006 20:11 GMT1

Major layout surgery04 Oct 2006 19:05 GMT6
Good morning!
I'd like to hear from those of you who have had to "operate" on your layout

Any C-Track users04 Oct 2006 07:47 GMT1
Marklin/Trix make a great track system, - both 3-rail and 2 -rail, called
C-Track. The quality is great, the turning radius goes down to just under
15", and the switch motors are mounted under the roadbed. With it little bit
of scenic work, it could look great, and I'm really ...

Model sleeping car bed clothes.03 Oct 2006 18:16 GMT8
I know that this is a bit OT, but could be of interest to some.
The latest Bachmann China HO scale model of the China Railways YW 22b hard
class sleeping car comes with a packet containing forty tiny moulded pillows
and a similar number of folded blankets. The greatest problem with ...

track configuration.  I will only be running one locomotive.I know MTH
