I noticed on Hattons website, Hornby 8Fs ranging from £47 to £88. Are there any differences to these other than number and livery? Cheers

| "Hobby Railroading" | 21 Nov 2006 18:30 GMT | 9 |
My local PBS station had a television show called "Hobby Railroading" on several years ago. It was probably the mid-90's that I last saw it on WTVP-47 Peoria, IL. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it and if it's still being shown somewhere.

| Diagonal white stripe on the wrong end | 20 Nov 2006 23:39 GMT | 16 |
I have got a model of a 21 ton mineral wagon made by Hornby (R6161C) which has a diagonal white stripe on the end without the door. I though it supposedly indicted where the end door is. Has Hornby painted it at the wrong end of the wagon?

| What's new on Jane's Garden Railway | 20 Nov 2006 03:13 GMT | 3 |
Recently I've got a bit fed up with not having a totally level continuous run, so when I've got a really long train that a loco can pull on the level or downhill, it gets really frustrating when the loco slips to a stop going uphill.

| Points moters for 009 guage points | 19 Nov 2006 05:49 GMT | 21 |
I'm very shortly about to order a significant amount of 009 track and points - all PECO, I know that you can do better if you build your own but I simply don’t have the time. One thing concerns me, I currently use SEEP point motors for my 00 gauge

| Converting to DCC | 18 Nov 2006 22:37 GMT | 9 |
The only thing stopping me going DCC, is installing decoders in my trains they are all 15-20 years old. I been told (not sure if it's true) older models like this the wiring is different from the newer models of the last few years something about being isolated I think?
