Ok I'm off to lowe's to look at new ideas for my lower level layout lighting. any one have a suggestion that works for them ? I have 18" of lower level to light up. the two levels extend 30' out.

Trying to find a top view of a prestwin, either prototype or Airfix, to get the detail of the rectangular frame so I can finish some old Lima N prestwins as BR types. The chassis is sorted but I have not been able to find a top view anywhere.

I've bought a couple of engine driver and stoker figures to add to the cabs of my steam engines but before I do that, I'll have to paint them first. Ca anybody tell me what colours to use?

I have a broken part on an LGB freight car that is made out of that slippery sort of black plastic often referred to in advertisements as "engineering plastic". Can anyone who has had success mending that sort of plastic please share their experiences with the glue they used?

I'm looking for a power supply with a 240 input and an adjustable 12 volt out put as a speed controller for an Arlec power tool which I use to grind and shape plastic for model building .I find the speed too fast and the plastic melts and the tool is hard to control.

I've got the job of making the test tracks for my local (American interest) club and need some help. We've decided that in order to accommodate at least 4 different scales (O, HO and N with 10.7mm gauge as well) we need to have boards which are 400mm wide and a 'standard'
