Bachmann Fairburn / DCC10 Nov 2006 16:27 GMT2
Just finished running in my bachmann fairburn loco, and want to fit the

Layout design09 Nov 2006 18:52 GMT70
I've not posted here for a while, simply because I've had to
more-or-less abandon my hobby through a complete lack of space.
However, thanks to some long, hard thinking, I have found space for a
semi-permanent terminus layout with a fiddle yard. This will be
printing slide off decals09 Nov 2006 09:21 GMT5
Any recomendations on sources for good quality wet slide off decal paper,
the kind that you print on your laser (or more likely ink jet) printer, wet

Ripples in water surface.09 Nov 2006 06:35 GMT28

I can not figure out how to get decent ripples in water. I have not yet
tried Woodland Scenics "water", and I have heard that it sort of works.

Bachy Fairburns are go!08 Nov 2006 11:41 GMT131
The new Fairburn 2-6-4T locos from Bachmann have just hit the shelves, and I
have to say I'm impressed.  They certainly capture the atmosphere of the
prototype and running qualities are in line with other recent releases from
Bachmann.

The Layout Of My Dreams07 Nov 2006 02:23 GMT4
Is HO scale, mostly due to the huge selection and my aging eyes,
otherwise it'd be N scale.  (PS - 1:100 scale would make so much sense
in so many ways, but that's another story.)
Has a large scenery:track ratio.  Way larger than the average
What Gradient ?06 Nov 2006 20:49 GMT32
