Finally I was able to cast my masterpiece: a little block o'lead, made
to fit in an empty space in a Rivarossi diesel loco to improve traction.

I use the bolt through t-nut method in the table legs to level my
benchwork, and it has served me well so far, in the basement.  However,
I am now planning on building a bench in a spare bedroom upstairs.  The
room has a wooden floor and I'm not thrilled with the idea of

MRC TECH II power pack01 Feb 2007 10:25 GMT14
One of my power packs is a MRC TECH II Railmaster 2400. It is old, but
still performs flawlessly.  There is something rattling around inside
the case that is really bugging me.  I tried to unfasten the case
halves to eliminate the rattler, but I don't seem to have the right

Thanks for the help with my last question and advice.
If I wanted to use an auto coupler for farish n gauge without damaging the
wagon or loco that works, what can I use.
Can anyone advise.

Precision Micro has for sale a 4-8-4 M1b steam locomotive with PRR markings.
Was this locomotive every used by the CB&Q?
