| Installing Walthers 90 ft. Turntable on Foam Base | 17 Feb 2007 15:55 GMT | 1 |
I want to use foam sheets over plywood for my layout base. How deep should the foam be at the turntable location (i.e. how deep is the $40.00 Walthers turntable, excluding motors, etc.)? This dimension is not shown on any product literature.

Good news for all LGB fans! LGB has a new owner. Mr Hermann Schöntag, owner of the Rügen Kleinbahn, a narrow gauge railway on the German island Rügen, and former owner of ModellEisenBahner magazine, is the new owner of Ernst Paul Lehmann

| Who will buy Atlas, Athearn or Walthers? | 17 Feb 2007 07:42 GMT | 1 |
Word on the street is Atlas is hurting for cash flow. New products are drying up, only a lame 'Trainman' rerun of the coal hoppers so far this year. So who will buy them, it is either Athearn/Horizon or Walthers which

I'm really new to model railroading and I am dealing with some used pieces of track. I have a few track questions to start: 1) What's the best way to clean track and to keep it that way?

| Rebuilt West Country (Hornby) | 14 Feb 2007 18:16 GMT | 3 |
Just installed a decoder and added all the detail bits and I am very impressed indeed! However the front boogie keeps derailing and all I can see is that it is catching on the front buffer beam detail even though I have bent it forward

| Cheap model projects | 13 Feb 2007 04:17 GMT | 15 |
What's your favorite project that you have completed under $5? This is $5 for the project, not including extra parts that you had to buy. (Swapping out plastic wheels for metal ones, for example, is about a $2.50 per car project.)

| Why does Steve Caple hate Christians and God and never post about Trains on a Train Board | 13 Feb 2007 03:17 GMT | 22 |
This is a question people are asking me. I don't know. I am praying for God to guide him to a clean life and stop hating people who go to Church and start posting without potty talk about trains on a train board. Please help me pray for him.

Since we have a new troll here in Brad, I did a search and found he is the founder of Bigfoot research and a true believer. Now that makes me take him really seriously now. NOT. He also is still waiting for the easter bunny and tooth fairly to

| Love my new Class 108 ! | 12 Feb 2007 14:09 GMT | 70 |
Just received my new Bachmann Class 108 in BR green today..... very happy. Looks good and a good little runner, even on my tight 24 inch curves. I really like the way the interior lighting level is set so that it's only apparent in subdued room lights. I can't remember whether ...
