Does anyone know where I can get a square crossing in OO/HO? (That is where
one track crosses another at 90 degrees)

I know most model railroaders are men.  So am I.  But I am also gay
and want to know if any others out there are too?
Does the overwhelming amount of men in the hobby make it a mecca for
gays?  I found that to be one of the attractions.

Recently someone mentioned H&G brick sheet. I have two uncut pieces, one
buff (4"x18.5") and one red (8.5"x17"); also a kit for three commercial
buildings. They've been sitting on my Someday shelf for, um,
days'n'days'n'days. All three items free to a good home, you pay

What is involved in lighting something like a caboose? I'm talking
interior or maybe an exterior light(s). Are there kits or particular
parts used to do this (will be working in On30 scale and the eventual
caboose and cars will most likely be purchased as kits).

Why does some or at least a lot of steam engines have about the front
quarter of the engine silver in color while the rest is black?

Can anyone suggest a cheap camera suitable for photographing railway models?
(Digital of course). A secondary use will be taking pictures of period
buildings. I'm looking for the *cheapest* camera which will do the job as
opposed to the "best". TIA

The "Rectal Railroad" as I like to call it is a one way trip. Let's

Sorry to say, but ALL the BWH models have gone, and the BCHs are not far

Does anyone have any experience with the Polar Lights kits of both the
"Psycho" house (Bates Mansion) and the Addams Family haunted house?  I'm
just wondering how close to HO scale they might be and if the Addams Family
house especially is suitable for a layout.  I don't really ...

I still have some old Mantua locomotive kits to make (or kitbash!) and
I wonder about the motors to be used. Mantua used to sell can motors
to replace the 5 pole motors supplied with the kits, but they are no
longer in business for parts.
