That would be the new Lionel ZW with two 180 watt power supplies. I can't
get an MTH 20-2125-1 C&O F3 AA set to function reliably with this
transformer. I tried the Lionel CW-80 transformer also and that's a bust.
If I fiddle furiously with the throttle I can sometimes get it ...

I'm planing to build big layout, 2-4 trains and don't have experiance with
dcc.
What do yout think about Lenz set 100 or 90.

Check this out, my neighbor built this layout in about 3 weeks.  He
takes it down every year and builds a new one for Christmas.  I have a
video of the 8 trains running.

Can someone please tell me how to wire directional lights. I don't
have a problem with the lights but at the moment they are on in each
direction. At the moment I will concentrate on white headlights but at
a later time I would like to know how to wire a rear light that only

The next release of Walthers PROTO 2000 RS-2 locos will come with a 9-pin
DCC socket...  I thought the NMRA DCC standard was 8 pins?
Why do some locos have 9-pin sockets instead?

i.v been blocking all the spamers using message block in outlook express and
deleting them from the railway newsgroup, it works and you are left with
only quality post on the suject.

Brass strip: Anyone know how narrow these strips go down to - at least from
easy to obtain/commonly stocked UK ranges, I don't mean thickness/gauge but
actual width.

I wonder if anyone is or has had this problem?  The metal track
connectors that one buys for Atlas Flex Track are !. not neatly folled
over with the split streight, 2. are much to tight, are rolled and not
bent over and steight.  UIt's strange but the connectors that came

I have a few each of boxes containing six pieces of Atlas curved  N Gauge track.
Some of the boxes are marked
"Atlas 6-Sections 9 1/4" Radius Track #2510".

The Canberra Model Railway Club is presenting an exhibition at the National
Hockey Centre, Mouat St Lyneham in North Canberra on Saturday and Sunday the
14/15 April 2007.
The show will be open from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm on both days.
