Does anybody here know what has to become/is to become of the garden
layout situated just outside Shifnal, Shropshire? I've not been able to
glean much information about it save that the property was owned by a Mr
Robert Head and that the railway was operated by a society. I ...

Curve Radius04 May 2007 23:03 GMT3
When Peco, for example, say their 4th radius curve is of 572mm radius, where
is that measured to ?
Is it the centre line of the track, or the outside rail or outer line of the
sleepers ? Thanks chaps and chapesses.
What is the best brand of engine.04 May 2007 21:06 GMT13
I'm fairly new at this game, but after buying several locomotives I
have come to the conclusion that my Atlas engines seems to be the
smoothest running, most reliable and more detailed. My Bachman is
mostly junk and I'm always fighting DCC issues with my Athern.

Digitrax DS64 AUX power trouble03 May 2007 14:31 GMT3
I am currently entering DCC and I am trying to hook up a Digitrax DS64
to my Tortoise turnout machines. Running the DS64 off track power puts
19.5 volts on the outputs, which I assume will fry the Tortoises, so I
connected a 12V supply via the AX1 and AX2 inputs on the DS64. ...

I'd be interested and grateful if anyone who has experience with Williams
trains could give their opinions on the products.
I was looking at perhaps getting a Blue Comet set from Williams. But their
online catalog is confusing and the images are limited. For instance they
Getting started!03 May 2007 02:06 GMT2
I am new to all of this.  I have had long interest in trains both big
and model.  I own HO and Lionel trains.  I am interested in doing
something with this.  As I would from home I have some time to invest.
