There is a company on Ebay selling plastic scale people really cheap.  Only
problem is that they are either 1:75 or 1:100.  They apparently don't have
any that are 1:87.  So, my question is this... which would you rather have;
people a little too big or people a little too small?

I have been searching for an N-scale BCR caboose, but I have not been able
to find one -or if one was ever produced. A dealer that I trust said that he
believed that one was produced but he can't remember any of the details.
Does anyone have any information about this, or perhaps ...

I am going to make a baseboard 6' x 1'6'' and would like to know if anyone
could inform me if MDF a good material to use for baseboards?  Does it warp
or sag and how much support does it need?

I could not resist buying one of these models as the prototype has a
soft spot in my memory (early 1940's at Bristol SPM).   At that time
No 6 was also there before it went off to Taunton. I remember it being
named Clevedon but no literature confirms my memory  ---   can anyone

Well, I've just got my Bachmann 47 with sound, and I have to say from
initial impressions it looks like a 47. The rivets are still on the window
surrounds, but as it's a pristine finish they aren't clearly visible. I
think with a bit of light weathering they'll probably be more ...
