Plese can someone tell me 1) What is the best tool for cutting out the
rectangles in baseboards to sink point motors into? and 2) Please can
someone suggest a suitable tool to hammer track pins in through the
holes of N gauge track.

After many years of building British narrow gauge models I've decided to
have a go at an On30 US layout. It will be a freelance model. I've managed
to find out about locomotives, rolling stock and buildings. I can find quite
a lot of detail about signalling on US mainlines but ...

The Bachmann Dynamis has at long last been mentioned in Model Railroader
(October 2007, p.11)

New layout in the planning stages.  Small, dismountable, in the guest
bedroom.  When I have house guests it picks up and stores in the garage.
 Garage is too cold for a permanent layout (I'd freeze) and I need it
for the car in winter.

I have a Walther's Car float and need to know what color the deck would have
been painted. It is a metal deck if that matters. My inclination is a grey
of some kind.

Anyone got any idea how to get the body off the Hornby Thomas  ( new
model ) so I can fit it for DCC ?

I understand if you join the Hornby Collectors Club via the form in
'British Railway Modelling' magazine you get an extra 'free' gift ....
what have I missed out on ?
