I would like to fit on my layout some LED signal lights, but I am not sure
what to use,  such as the combination of  lights on points and where to use
them.
I am building a layout dated around 1980's.

I am planning a 2mm layout in a particularly small space [to me] of 18" by
3 foot, It will be a single line branch terminus with some local passenger
services. What I need to know is the maximum gradient on a tight curve that
I can get the majority of current trains up, assuming ...

Been away from model trains for over 30 years now.  I guess I'm entering my
second childhood now since I want to get back into it.  I really like what

I am running a Digitrax system DB150 with DT400 and two UT1 throttles.
While I started with Digitrax decoders, I have been swapping them out
for TCS decoders as the Digitrax die.
Two of my latest changes were swapping a DN121 for a DP2x  and replacing

Thirty-five dollars for a dozen poles seems steep... but stringing wires
often isn't fun, either.

I'm considering adding a second deck to my model railroad.  It's designed
to be modular and portable, and has been moved several times quite easily.  
Any advice is welcome, but I've got a question.  Would I need a micro-
adjust on the second deck?  If the top is level, shouldn't ...

When did HO scale railroad spikes first come into use, and who
"invented" them?
