used to carry the kids around the garden, needs sprucing up but want it to
go to a good home - its approx 4 ft long with the ...

The latest Scale Rails (NMRA magazine) includes an article about DCC

Airbrush and compressor deals30 Jan 2008 21:28 GMT15
I stopped by Northern Tools a couple of days ago to buy a Paasche VL set for
the regular price of $69.99.  Imagine my surprise when it rang up for $35.00
exactly.  I checked the receipt and the SKU was an exact match.  :-?  Must

Need A Hobby?30 Jan 2008 12:06 GMT43
A man needs a hobby.
I guess I'm not well-rounded. I seldom take a vacation (never, come to

I do not consider myself a pagan.
N Scale McKinley Explorer30 Jan 2008 04:55 GMT2
Does anyone know what kind of couplers are used on Bachmann's McKinley
Explorer set? No one seems to give that information. If it uses Rapido
couplers, are they relatively easy to swap out for the Micro Trains style
knuckle couplers?
rivetting tool28 Jan 2008 14:37 GMT4
Hi there. Does anybody know who makes a riveting tool for punching out
dummy rivets in etch brass kits. The tool I am thinking of is the one
with a threaded rod and a weight that allows the drop of the weight to
be set thus producing (theoretically) uniform rivets.

Frank Finney Kits.28 Jan 2008 10:36 GMT4
I am interested in any reports regarding these kits __
particularely whether they have sufficient weight. They look so nice
and cover a range of locos which suit me very well but I would be
wanting performance too!

I just put a new whistle disk/rectifier in my old KW, and some posts,
and two new rollers, when i was putting the main post in i notices
three wires going to it. The main power wire, the whistle wire, and
then the overload lamp wire. Is that supposed to go there? Now the
Best OO Overhead Catenary???26 Jan 2008 22:51 GMT2
I know the question has been asked here before as I searched the
archives however most of the threads seem to go way back.
So, I'm currently planning an OO layout and would like to incorporate
overhead catenary.

I've been noticing the stable of Vitrains Cl37s has been increasing
rapidly of late. Does anyone have any opinions of them with regards to
comparisons with the Bachmann model etc?
