| Atlas Switch Machine Doesn't Quite Fit | 23 Feb 2008 13:44 GMT | 1 |
I'm wondering why the Atlas L remote switch machine doesn't quite fit properly to the #4 L turnout. The tie with the notch nearest the throw rod seems a bit short and is bent upward slightly with the switch machine in place. It isn't a snug fit.

| Live catenary | 21 Feb 2008 15:29 GMT | 31 |
I've been toying with the idea electric traction but if I'm going to go to the effort of putting up catenary I don't want it to be just cosmetic. In general, the model catenary duplicates one of the rails. This is fine until the loco is turned.

| Beer Train? | 20 Feb 2008 22:55 GMT | 11 |
Has anyone ever made a garden train capable of carrying loads? I'm thinking something that could pick up beer at a fridge (and yes, an automated method of loading the train), and bring the beer to the poolside. Not that I have the time or money to do this right now, but

Hello. I have an Atlas diesel (N scale) that runs very fast alone, however it is unable to pull a couple of cars. I have other engines that don't run so fast like this one when runing alone, however seem to pull 8 or 10 cars with no problem. What do you think? Is there some

| Where to get a reliable valuation? | 19 Feb 2008 17:28 GMT | 6 |
I have had for years an unused Hornby Railways RS.508 Flying Scotsman set (with exhaust steam sound). Boxed with electric locomotive, 2 coaches in GNER livery immaculate condition. Is this common or is it likely to be worth anything. Thought about selling

| when selling Lionel set? | 19 Feb 2008 11:07 GMT | 8 |
I have an old Lionel set that I was going to put up on eBay. My question is whether to include the transformers. I have 2 and they would greatly add to the weight of the shipping. Do the transformers have any value, or should I just sell the tracks and train?
