3 transistor feedback controller - Lost circuit31 Mar 2008 22:41 GMT17
I am trying to track down a circuit for a model railway controller that used
3 transistors and was a pulsed/feedback design.
I used the controller for many years on my exhibition layouts, which I sold
to Solihull MRC many years ago. I have decided to make another small O gauge
LED signals with tortoise swiches31 Mar 2008 20:08 GMT16
I got my tortoise switches all working great. I even have a double crossover

all looks good, but as Hornby have committed themselves to producing it in
metal to help with traction, I am just wondering how much it will cost

Getting started in N gauge29 Mar 2008 22:01 GMT11
I am planning on building a small layout in N gauge, and wonder if
anyone can offer any advice on the following:
1. Would you go for Code 55 or 80?  I understand that the former looks
more realistic, but that is not really a concern for me at present.
BR 4mm scale suburban DMUs29 Mar 2008 09:53 GMT2
Lima used to do the 117, are there any kits out there as the 117s are now
going for silly prices and I want a 116 and 118.
They all need resprays anyway (after all the sawing)

Bachmann N Scale McKinley Explorer Set28 Mar 2008 04:20 GMT1
Has anybody who owns this set converted the rapido couplers to the Micro
Trains knuckle couplers? I was hoping someone could point me to the exact
model of knuckle couplers to use.

Lionel new O Gauge... Stourbridge Lion26 Mar 2008 14:20 GMT22
AKA John Bull, is being produced in "nominal 'O' gauge" for the
American market. The question arises: were locomotives of the same
construction (looked similar) used extensively in Britain (or
