Low flange wheels for Arnold Rapido07 Mar 2008 07:30 GMT3
Can anyone tell me which wheels I need for Arnold Rapido Heavyweight
Passenger Cars, to run on Atlas Code 55 N-scale. I have some Atlas plastic
low flange wheels but they are just slightly to narrow for the trucks so
they come out . Another question: should I get plastic or steel ...
HO Old Time Locos that have a high level of detail?06 Mar 2008 21:05 GMT29
I have just received 9 lovely little 34' highly decorated Overton passenger
coaches by Roundhouse and would like to put them with an appropriate loco  -
I believe the coaches are from the mid 1800's. The issue I have is that the
locos I have seen online (haven't seen any in the ...
Cars for O-Scale06 Mar 2008 08:50 GMT9
What scale cars are most popularily used for O-Scale sets?  I can't
seem to find much in the 1:48 scale, but I see 1:43, and 1:50.  Is
there any advantage to either?

Shanks on couplers06 Mar 2008 07:52 GMT8
I see knuckle couplers advertised with long, medium and short shanks.  Is
there a way to tell which I need?  I live over 100 miles from a hobby shop,
and the opportunity to look at these things is rare....
Thank you.

Question about HOn3005 Mar 2008 04:51 GMT3
Don't know if anyone remembers me: I was posting a year ago or so about
a On30 Halloween layout project (which would go on display on the front
porch, with a protective plexiglass cover, for the Trick or Treaters to
view). That project is still in the works and I thank again all ...
Magazine Binders03 Mar 2008 17:36 GMT8
The pile of model mag's is getting higher each month and the wife's
getting a bit fed up of knocking them over.
I know you can get binders via the mag but these are about £8 each
plus postage.  I have tried places like W H Smith & Partners but they
Live Steam03 Mar 2008 16:53 GMT1
I inherited, from my father, an O gauge live steam 0-4-0 tank engine.
I can remember him telling me that my grandfather either built it or
bought it. I would guess this dates it to no later than the 1920's.
Has anyone any ideas where I could find out more about it? Pictures

years ago? Of course it's a hoax.
