| Model This! | 10 May 2008 03:53 GMT | 24 |
Went out to trainwatch via motorcycle this afternoon and saw something that might be fun to model for Union Pacific fans. A U.P. container freight was headed up Beaumont hill, and the lead unit had a flagstaff vertically attached to the engineer's side of the cab from which was ...

Upon hearing from Malcolm Donaldson that NWSL was closing down this month, I emailed Fred and asked him about it. According to Fred, NWSL is indeed for sale -and has been for about a year- but he mentioned no plans to close down this month or indeed in the near future.

| Soldering Question | 02 May 2008 21:44 GMT | 10 |
Bought an old built Nu-Cast B1 recently, very nicely made but a bit mouldy in places. Had never been run so had a go at cleaning up chassis - white metal, solid as the proverbial brick outhouse. It has what look like old Romford wheels with rods held in place by solder.
