Bachmann Dynamis30 Jun 2008 08:20 GMT2
I have started on the DCC route and have bought a Bachmann Dynamis. I have chipped 5 locos so far and addressed them. I have linked all 4 mainline tracks to the command box via two on-off switches, so that a further "always on" feed goes to a programming track.
Everything seems ...
Tank cars30 Jun 2008 01:49 GMT19
Can someone tell me the reason for tank cars of apparently similar capacity
having one, two and three domes?  Is it for the carriage of different grades
of material in the same car?
Thank you,

I bought the rebuilt Patriot recently. When I eventually tested the
loco I found some bits adjacent to the track. My son [30 years old]
insisted that these bits were extras and not origionally fitted.
Can anyone confirm if the cab doors and handrails are factory fitted
Which DCC System?27 Jun 2008 22:50 GMT16
Perhaps this has been asked before but my searches have revealed
nothing.
I'm a newbie in every sense in that I will shortly, despite being a

I am hoping that someone can give me advice about getting this

The set is in good working order: motor, cables, pulleys all fine ...

DCC occupancy detections false positives27 Jun 2008 10:01 GMT47
I just installed DCC block occupancy detectors and am getting false
positives only when the layout is in an operating session with lots of
people and trains. When I'm by myself there are no false indications.
I'm at a loss what to do, or how to test if the changes have been

Any ideas for finding a 1:24 Psyche?25 Jun 2008 22:12 GMT4
This past spring's project was adding a small, rocky stream to the G gauge
Dogwood & Birdbath RR.  Dogwood Creek flows about 10' from the base of its
namesake to a small pond, and finally gives purpose to the deck truss
bridge.  The stream bed is covered with the small 'home ...
XtrkCAD4 -  where are the extras25 Jun 2008 16:34 GMT4
I downloaded this program and it works fine to design track, but I'm
missing things like cars, trains, switches, etc.   Seems I can do the
basics of a board and layout but the further I go I run into missing
extras.   Like the download was only part.  But I can't find more to
