| Formula for figuring series resistor values for LEDs | 29 Aug 2008 20:25 GMT | 8 |
Don't ask me what prompted me to post this. Guess it's because the question often comes up here, what value of resistor do I need to run my LEDs off my 12-volt power supply? So here's the generalized formula which should work for every situation.

I have a brand new Bachmann Hall 32-000DC with 'DCC on board' It runs perfectly in a normal DC setup. When I put it on my DCC (Digitrax) layout it appears to run fine at slow and fast speed. However at a medium speed it 'pulses' along the track.
