Thinking About Brass?30 Oct 2008 21:04 GMT5
The recession has finally hit Ebay, and if there's a certain brass

Among other goodies, one of the guys in our club recently picked up a
Weymouth Station - Building Plans30 Oct 2008 14:57 GMT2
Does anyone have copies or know where we can get copies of building
plans for Weymouth town, Weymouth Quay and Upwey Junction railway
stations? We are modelling the 1930s at 4mm and having trouble
locating plans for the buildings...
Question about switch machines29 Oct 2008 21:04 GMT6

switch? (Rough figure, not precise to 2 decimal places.)
Thanks!

pre-rationalisation?  At present I'm assuming it had a goods yard, as
the 1904 station directory states it could handle all forms of normal
freight.  A site visit showed one potential site - on the east side of

Bachmann Ivatt 2-6-226 Oct 2008 17:40 GMT20
Bachmann are, it seems, about to release this model again.  Can anyone
tell me if these have been improved over the years, or is the new one
essentially the same as all the previous ones?
I believe that some of the split chassis locos, e.g. the J72, have been
Rail gaps26 Oct 2008 16:52 GMT8
A long time ago there was a discussion on how to fill gaps in nickel
silver rail. (HO)
Can anyone provide me with some ideas? I do want to preserve a non-
conductive gap.
BRM Show at Peterborough25 Oct 2008 02:08 GMT6
Had several customers in my shop this week who went to the BRM Show at
Peterborough last weekend.
Without exception all claimed the show was rubbish and that the trade
support was equally poor.  A pretty universal exception was they thought the
Any new RTR locos for 2009?...23 Oct 2008 20:33 GMT41
With the economic situation I wonder what if anything new will be
promised for next year, Bachmann (both 2 and 4mm) still have enough
already promised from 2008 to take them into 2010, Hornby seem to be
up to date but many are screaming out for re-releases and
