I was reading the interwebs for ballasting tips and saw one site
that advocates using dilute Copydex instead of PVA because it
remains more flexible, and deadens the sound more.  I'll try
anything once, so I gave it a go both for a short stretch of ballast

When the Bachmann Deltic was first released I complained (here) that the
nose didn't look right, that it lacked the "massiveness" of the real thing
or even the Lima variant. Bachmann and their cronies countered with
comparisons to the manufacturer's drawings, claiming it to be ...

I have spent hours looking for illuminated bushbuttons that i can use
in a control panel to turn power on or off in a section of track in a
yard.
I am sure such a thing exists but I haven't found it yet!

Thoght they were going to announce at the toy fair ?

Sometime in the last year, I bought a pair of Atlas GP40-2's
painted and lettered for B&M.
They are beautiful, and they run very well,
but the couplers are something I've never encountered before,

I want to shut off power to various spurs in my yard on occasion.
I would prefer pushbuttons, but can’t find DPST pushbuttons, on the
assumption that I have to run both track wires thru the switch.
I saw where someone is using SPST puhbuttons for this process.
