The Hornby blurb re the Elite unit says it outputs 15V AC power with
superimposed signals. Tried to look at this on my rather duff scope, but
can't lock on. Need to know the frequency of the "constant" 15V , ie. is it
50 Hz  standard UK domestic mains, or something else? Whatever ...

Am building the LMS 1F from Craftsman kit, tried my preferred combination of
motor and gears but they dont fit easily.

Nice set of pictures on chassis assembly in this months model rail. But if
anyone following that for their first attempt should be warned that theres
not enough emphasis on getting the frames square. Without them  correct then
its difficult if not impossible to make a good runner ...
