Will be spending a few days in York first week of october. As I still have a day to spend in my planning, I would like to visit a modeltrain shop. I do have a britrailpass so I can visit a city within reach of a day trip.

Bought a Stuart Reidpath 00 4F yesterday, does the white metal contain uranium ? Recon if can get it going it could pull a full sized 10 ton PO wagon :-) Cheers,

The chassis on the Lima J50 and 94XX locos are pretty poor. Has anyone tried putting the bodies on a Hornby Jinty chassis? Does they fit?
