Hornby have just announced price increases from 1st September across its Hornby, Scalextric and Airfix brands. The majority od increases will be in the range 5 - 7½%, but certain products may be slightly higher. They claim to have had no option and the increases

Does anyone know of a source for layout ideas for an HO that would fit on a 4'x8' maximum area? I'm hoping to have a combination of a figure 8 with 18" bridge to the inside with 15" radius curves at each end and another track (I'll be running two engines hopefully) running parallel

I have a brand new Bachmann Hall 32-000DC with 'DCC on board' It runs perfectly in a normal DC setup. When I put it on my DCC (Digitrax) layout it appears to run fine at slow and fast speed. However at a medium speed it 'pulses' along the track.

Wherever you go these days you see graffiti, buildings, walls etc. and trains. Even preserved railways do not escape their attention but for the most part on carriages yet to be restored. Some of these illegal illustrations, especially in the US, are works
