Well folks I have finally found 2 flying fields that are close by....now I want to apply to the FAA for a "standing" waiver on each site....
What I plan on doing is listing  every weekend date(s) for the next year for both sites..... 3000 ft for the small site and maybe 10000ft  ...

i flew my new comanche 3 triple stage rocket for the first time
yesterday and promptly lost the 1st and 2nd stages (luckily enough the
main body stage was recovered).
can anyone recommend a method for finding small rocket stages in large

All the buzz about the Aiptek PenCam SD at WalMart has gotten me
interested in doing aerial imaging.  I'm not sure which would be

I just fashioned a really simple yet strong motor retainer out of an
aluminum screen door clip.  Is this wise?  Will this material stand up to
the heat/flame generated from the motor?

       Just a note to say I am very pleased with the service received.
Placed the order on Wednesday morning, and they buttons were in my mail box
this afternoon. It is a real shame that all vendors, in any field, don't
provide such service to their customers.

All the local hardware stores in my area carry tanks
of compressed oxygen, for high temp. brazing equipment.
They use the same cylinders as propane and MAPP gas.
