Rocket Presents20 Sep 2003 12:02 GMT4
I made my Christmas/Bday list, and my parents have requested some more
cheaper items (under $ 30). What kind of items do you recommend for a
high/mid power flyer that is heading towards EX?

I am trying to put together a modular MPR and L1 HPR system to stop my
incessant "build a dedicated prototype to test things" methodology.
Given that I have three sections of a rocket (motor/fin can, airframe,
and payload/NC), does anyone have a recommendation on how to join these ...

Balsa Body Tubes19 Sep 2003 16:21 GMT8
I have often heard people talk of rolling balsa tubes for competition

What thickness balsa do you use?  How to you do it?
Can you roll a 13mm tube?
Aiptek PenCam 1.3M SD Camera  $29.88 at WalMart19 Sep 2003 09:51 GMT8
For those looking for a potential rocket-cam, there have been several
sightings of the Aiptek PenCam 1.3M SD camera priced at $29.88 at WalMart.
It's actually mismarked on the shelf tag as a PenCam Trio VGA, but it's the
much newer model.

Assuming this all happens, this will take away one of the BATFE and Shummer's lies about model or high power rockets downing jet liners...
unfortunately it will take at least the enxt 2 years minimum to implement....

Cracked RMS liner18 Sep 2003 19:45 GMT3
As I was assembling an AT J460 I noticed a hairline crack in the liner about
1/4 of the length of the tube.  I don't think this is a problem, but thought
I'd ask nevertheless.  Geez, usually the liner comes out all toasty any way
when dis-assembling the motor.

Prior to NARAM I placed a thread about some minimally damaged "Small
