I am thinking about the club doing some rocketry related field trips and was
wondering what others may have done. any suggestions?

Now that the A10-PT's are out there, I've been fixating on coming up
with innovative uses for these little things (i.e., excuses to explain to my
wife why I had to buy that whole damn carton of 'em at Wally-World).
Just like Cheetos or Slim Jims, I just can't pass 'em by.

I'm designing a rocket that will have an avionics bay just forward of
the fins. Due to some packaging considerations, the static port will
be in line with a fin, or just slightly offset from the fin. How far
forward of the fin's leading edge should the static port be placed so

I want to convert my launch controller to a relay system.  I currently
have a 7Ahr sealed lead acid battery that sits at the launch button end
of the system.  I want to put the battery and realy at the pad end.  I
have a few questions for the hive:

I need some advice.  I have a Comanche - 3 with a crimped body tube.  Should
I remove the entire crimped section or cut tube in half at the crimp?  I was
planning on using a spent D motor casing as the coupler.  Any advice is
welcome.

and pure alcohol(or something else what would evaporate quite easily), for
