My home ISP for news is the giganews server and at 12:30 today, it's not listed any more ! (RMR is not listed, only alt.rockets and uk rockets.) I wonder if those DDOS attacks going on over the weekend targeted RMR

I want to post a few rockets on rmr for auction. In days past one used to be able to upload a jpg right to the auction site. Now it asks for a URL. Is this the only way to get photos posted?

I'm hoping someone can help me with a question on reinforcing balsa fins with silk paper, like that done on RC planes. It has been several years since I last did this. I know there is a 50/50 mix using a glue with thinner, but I can't find the exact name anywhere.

I saw estes advertising their new rocket dragsters and was thinking this might be fun to try. I was thinking of building something slightly larger that would be propelled with a small E or F 24mm motor down the sidewalk along a 200' tether. Anyone ever tried building one of these?
