Help I need a transition for a special project.  It needs to be able to fit
a 3.9 tube on the bottom and a 2.16 or there abouts on top similar in
profile to the BMS TA 550.  Also I need a conical nose cone similar to the
Estes/ BMS BNC 5S.  Any help would be appreciated as I am not ...
On Topic.... Motor block question31 Dec 2003 16:54 GMT13
Is the motor block really necessary in an Estes motor mount? Or can the
little green paper ring be omitted and a drop of Tite Bond be smeared on the
tube to stop the motor hook from tearing forward?

Elastic Shock Cord31 Dec 2003 07:17 GMT4
I'm a BAR building mid-power. I remember from my younger days that the Estes
kit elastic shock chords got brittle after a few flights and were subject to
sending my descending rocket in two different directions. My LOC Aura kit
has an elastic shock chord. Should I replace it with a ...

Jerry Irvine, on 'godhood'31 Dec 2003 01:44 GMT27
here is a tongue-in-cheek anthology of Jerry's attributions of godhood
it's by way of a "holiday gift" from me to him, an acknowledgement of
his perserverance and hopefully a context to help rmr'ers appreciate one
of Jerry's idiosyncracies in a new light.  Sometimes we all take
Full-length paper coupler tubes??30 Dec 2003 18:42 GMT54
Does anyone know of a source for full-length paper coupler tubing, to fit
standard 2.56" airframe tubes? I used to get it from Rocket R&D but apparently
they are out of business due to health problems.

Wow, I am confused on the regs, help a BABAR?30 Dec 2003 05:05 GMT10
I've been out of the HPR scene for close to 5 years and I have been wanting
to get back into it.  I've heard of the new regulations but I don't fully
understand them.  When I flew HPR, all I needed was a LEUP and have an ATF
agent come to my house ask me a few questions.  I think it ...
