The Pro-75 and Pro-98 is going to ROCK!28 Jan 2004 21:45 GMT8
Lots of new motors on the way. Between Cesaroni, AMW and Ellis Mt.
there will be plenty of motors to be flown. This includes the smaller
stuff... stay tuned!
Sweet!
Tour de Deuce Updates28 Jan 2004 17:29 GMT1
The last few weeks have been quite hectic for the Tour de Deuce team.
We have been swamped with e-mails and updates from volunteers and much
communication amongst ourselves. This is a VERY good thing - it shows
the project is alive and well! I have some updates for TRF members and
[AD] A few motors looking for a good home..... first come first serve.... 28 Jan 2004 04:24 GMT3
I have the following items available at current Aerotech LIST price plus
actual shipping / handling / Insurance.
LEUP required for restricted access motors.
TRA / NAR cert L1 for H and I,  L2 for J reloads.
pre-historical question: 199127 Jan 2004 23:05 GMT8
OK, so from all I've heard, even though TMT "performance testing"
activities date back to the mid 1980's, it was around 1991 or so
that TRA first actively proposed to use an "approved motor list"
and limit launch activities to motors from that list (though this
Vacuum bagging reloads....27 Jan 2004 20:31 GMT4
Is there any negative aspects to vacuum bagging reloads (using a food
saver)? The food saver is non-adjustable as far as the amount of vacuum
goes. I thought this might be a good idea to keep the grains from oxidizing.
We're talking E thru G range.
FREE, er, SCREW MARS... How About Solar Power Satellites After Going To The Moon?27 Jan 2004 20:27 GMT3
FWIW:  why isn't [someone] pushing for the development
of solar power satellites in geostationary Earth orbit?  Con-
structing them from lunar materials would be an IDEAL
reason for going back to the moon instead of just as a waypoint
Moon, Mars, and NASA27 Jan 2004 19:26 GMT26
Bush's recent proposal got me thinking. Now I loved the early NASA stuff; I
was a kid in the 60's and avidly followed the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo
flights. But I worry that today's NASA would be utterly and completely
incapable of doing a manned lunar and/or Mars program.
Where can I find a Pershing Kit?27 Jan 2004 02:16 GMT11
I'm looking for a Pershing Kit.  Something like the old Estes Pershing using
D or E engines.  The Launch Pad sold them when they were still open, but
past posts on this newsgroup says they are closed.
Any suggestions?  Thanks
Thanks to everyone who helped make my L3 cert a success!26 Jan 2004 21:13 GMT9

Kevlar Pads to protect chutes26 Jan 2004 19:03 GMT2
I am working on several "small" Estes rockets with my son and need info on
the Kevlar pads available from Giantleap Rockets in particular.  I have some
and I was wondering how much to trim off to fit the rockets properly and
still proctect the chutes?  I am waiting to hear from Ed ...

2003 RMR flight survey26 Jan 2004 10:48 GMT49
It's time for the seventh annual RMR flight survey. I'd appreciate hearing
from everyone, both active posters and "lurkers", old timers and newbies,
questes rocketeers and HPR fliers, everybody who reads RMR. Even Jerry
Irvine and John Cato if they actually flew any rockets! :-) ...
