source for E and F class motors.23 Jan 2004 15:18 GMT6
Seems like every where I look I can not find 29mm diameter rocket motors for
my Aerotek Cheetah. Lots of vendors have them listed but are usually out of
stock or when ordered they are backordered with no delivery date.
Communication is poor with most dealers on the internet.

Rockets for a 3 year old23 Jan 2004 07:35 GMT7
OK, I got myself in a slight pickle.
I promised my 3 year old I'd take him to see rockets - in March.  Well, he
doesn't want to see rockets (at Cape Kennedy) in March, he wants them
*now*.
Michael's/Estes Promotion for Scout Merit Badge23 Jan 2004 03:35 GMT3
As has been noted previously, Michael's Arts & Crafts stores and Estes
have begun a promotion supporting Boy Scouts Space Exploration
Merit Badges.  They will give each scout working on their merit badge
a free Estes rocket kit and provide space to troops for their build
Tracking Smoke Formula22 Jan 2004 23:10 GMT45
I am giving serious consideration to making my own tracking smoke
canisters in 29mm and 38mm sizes... just right to fit into a Pro38 or AT
motor casing and then into a motor tube either set up as one tube of a
cluster at the aft end... or into a tube built into the nosecone.

Estes D and E motors best prices22 Jan 2004 13:37 GMT13
Switching to Estes motors for the next round of rockets.  Where are the best
deals, and how much are they for a pack of D and E motors?  Thanks!

Estes Falcon22 Jan 2004 12:59 GMT24
I finished scratch building an Estes Falcon boost glider, and after several
test tosses, tried the first flight on an Estes 1/2A6-2.  Nice, straight
boost, motor out at apogee, and it came down almost as straight as it went
up.  The dis-assembly was complete.
Research Paper21 Jan 2004 23:20 GMT3
What topic should I do? I have a free choice of anything, and he recommends
it be something you like (rockets in my case). What are some ideas of
different topics I could do? I would like to do one that somewhat pertains
to EX rocketry, but anything is good. I was thinking something ...
WHERE OH WHERE???21 Jan 2004 23:19 GMT2
My kids and I just got bit by this model rocketry bug.  Does anyone
know of a location within a few hours of the Bay Area in Ca that
launches the "larger" size rockets?  We've "successfully" launched
three rockets at a park in our town, and we QUICKLY learned that a "C"

Just wandering... anyone have some links to the new NASA craft

Centuri Hummingbird21 Jan 2004 16:53 GMT11
Going back 31 years, the Centuri Hummingbird was my favorite rocket.
For those interested in that particular rocket, I have just finished
posting patterns, and copies of the directions suitable for building a
decent clone.  Go to http://astrocam.aea6.k12.ia.us/hummingbird.html

very nice 3D drawings of RMS motors of any size?
It was posted here some weeks ago, but I cannot trace it anymore.
A big thank you to anybody can help me!
