I'm just getting into composite motors (I'm a BAR) and have some new F-20
motors.  I've heard things about reliability problems with the copperhead
igniters.  Are there better igniters out there that can be purchased (I do
not want to make my own just yet).  Can the Aerotech motors ...

A TARC team contacted us about logistics of staging their entry for the
contest.  They pointed out that the rules state that the upper stage has to
be a BP motor and cannot be a composite...sure enough, the rules are

Ok, now that I've got your attention I'd like to remind you that this is not a
political newsgroup.  It is not a freedom-of-speech newgroup. It is a rocketry
newsgroup.  The word "rockets" is in rec.models.rockets for a reason.

Well, I'm for one am getting frustrated with the prospects for breaking
altitude records in this contest.  I have the design but not the motors.
The list of approved motors = 16 total.  Of these Kosdon by Aerotech are out
(-3), Cesaroni I360 is out (-1), Ellis Mountain I230 was ...
