conductive primer ?19 Feb 2004 01:48 GMT45
I'm wanting to dip my own igniters,
I remember a kit that was manufactured a while back that used this
primer to complete the circuit.
Is this still available?
[Review]Pratt Hobbies RTLS-M119 Feb 2004 01:15 GMT17
I just got my new PRATT remote tanking and launching system, and have
been looking it over.  I have seen and used them countless times
before, but I have never looked them over in great detail.  Now that I
have my own, I wanted to give Doug some credit he deserves for a very

Linux Model Rocket Software18 Feb 2004 15:22 GMT1
Is there any current, model rocket software for Linux.
I've done a quick google search, and only come up with dead links, or out
of date projects.
Going to the Smithsonian18 Feb 2004 13:31 GMT6
I'm leaving Sunday along with 66 of my juniors for a week-long study trip to
DC via a program called Close Up. I've been doing this for , well, since 94.
If you never hear from me again please assume the worst and fly a rocket in
my honor. I'm pushing 50 now and playing Daddy to 66 ...

HPR can't get no respect18 Feb 2004 03:21 GMT66
I've sent 9 requests to HPR asking what happened to September, October
& December 2003 issues.  I know that since HPR is involved, this
sounds funny to a lot of people but, I expect to receive what I pay
for.

Help Identify old 70s Estes catalog18 Feb 2004 03:10 GMT8
While getting some of my 70s Enerjet, Fsi and Estes catalogs out ready to
sell, I found one 70s Estes catalog to be missing the front cover.
It has the back cover saying the sissorwing transport is featured on the
front cover (sky blue) and that's it's new this year.
2003 RMR flight survey18 Feb 2004 02:58 GMT1
>I'll process responses received through the end of the month, and post a
>summary in February. Interim results can be viewed on my CHAD web page as
>SURVEY2003.LIS (the results from the past 7 years are there too)
When are we going to be able to see the interm (or final) results?
Shock Cord Attachment18 Feb 2004 02:52 GMT24
I'm replacing a shock cord on a 24mm-powered rocket of mine. It had the
3-folded-over Estes type shock cord mount, using my old reliable brown paper
grocery bag, but I want to replace it with the loop epoxied (?) into the tube
that I've seen on some other rockets, where your shock ...
NARCON 2004 Update18 Feb 2004 02:25 GMT10
We are now just shy of four weeks away from NARCON, and the
pre-registration deadline (Feb. 20) is rapidly approaching!
Since we first rolled out the website we've added quite a few
things. Check out the website for details, but here's the rundown:
Motor Mount Question18 Feb 2004 02:22 GMT26
Just made the switch from LPR to MPR and have launched the Aerotech
Strongarm several times (I'm hooked).  I'm looking for some more kits (not
quite ready to build my own just yet), but have a question on some of the
motor mounts, specifically motor retention.  The kits I've been ...
clustered SRB's ?18 Feb 2004 01:54 GMT7
Can I ask a potentially dumb question.? Why doesn't NASA cluster several of
the SRB's into different flight configs (2/3/4/5/6 clusters with a central
SRB core) and then perhaps place a 2nd SRB as a central core for a multi
stage heavy lift or man rated launch vehicle?
