tag? This post is a bit long, if you want to skip to the most
unbelievable part of this story, skip to near the end. I marked the

Well, im to report to the military this monday... so maybe see what
happens... I hope they got rocket launchers...

Ok, it was suggested that some plywood glue samples be made up.  I don't
believe that 1/4" Baltic will outlast the glue joint, but I have a quantity
on hand.  For strip size I like 1 1/2" wide x whatever works long.  The 1
1/2" would be the test joint in all cases.

I haven't been paying much attention to Estes lately, but while
wandering through the store today, I saw this new starter set.  If
you're not familiar with it, this RTF rocket has an LCD display near the
nose cone that claims to read the maximum altitude that the rocket

I was browsing thru the Home Depot for a new tub of fill and finish, and
something caught my eye. Has anybody ever tries that fiberglass drywall tape
as a reinforcing medium. It would seem you could spiral it onto a BT, cay on
some epoxy and sand it down just like with regular FG. ...
