The next CATO launch is scheduled for Sunday, April 18th, at the
Sterling, CT field, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is a Saturday
(April 17th) back-up date.
PLEASE NOTE: Recent heavy rainstorms have left a lot of standing water

If APCP is no longer regulated according to the USR website (?) how
can I buy some USR or other motors? I could not find a link to buy
them.
I would like to buy some J ank K motors if they are available. I'm new

this is an announce-only bot.  You are invited to consider the content
when it posts, which I expect will be infrequently
I am going offline to enable me to handle commitments more directly
you should assume that I may not have read any future post on rmr, so

Estes stick on decals and clear coats16 Apr 2004 02:57 GMT2
My son has one of the Estes models that have stick on decals. We tried
to clear coat the thing with Krylon clear coat and the decals started
to peel off! Has anyone else had similar experiences. Is there another
clear coat that is compatible with Krylon paints (since the model is
assessment of the vote on perm. certs.16 Apr 2004 02:30 GMT29
All,
Thanks for participating in the vote on permanent certifications.
The thread seems to have gone off topic so I thought I would give
my assessment.  My curiosity is satisfied.
TARC16 Apr 2004 02:22 GMT24
Just curious as how things are going for various TARC launches and what
teams are turning in for scores.
What kind of configurations are you seeing for motors and what kind of
results are they getting.
in defense of permanent certifications16 Apr 2004 01:38 GMT12
I have maintained, and thought others would agree, that lowering
regulations and barriers to participation in rocketry is a
"good thing".  Below is a post by Rick Dickinson that was buried
in another thread.  I thought it was so eloquent and on target
cost to certify16 Apr 2004 00:56 GMT97
The other threads concerning the new certification proposal have
degenerated, so I thought I would put forward my view on the
"one-time" certification cost.
Currently, a person can join NAR for a year for $62.00 ($12.00 for
Tripoli Mid Ohio launch this weekend16 Apr 2004 00:46 GMT1
To all,
Prefect Gary Dickinson, (Prefecture #31 ), and Tripoli Mid Ohio are
sponsoring a launch this Saturday. The weather has been miserable this
winter and we finally get to break in a new flying field this weekend.
vote on permanent certifications16 Apr 2004 00:08 GMT56
There are several threads on the proposal to make user certifications
permanent.  But, the actual number of posters have been rather few.
I am very curious as who would vote for permanent certifications and
who would vote against permanent certifications.
Rocket mishap at ARSA launch?15 Apr 2004 21:04 GMT52
Lurker here.
If a rocket hurts somebody at an ARSA launch won't the lawyers have a
field day? I would think they would be all over the organization for
sponsoring "renegade" flying.
address change15 Apr 2004 15:38 GMT2
For those who care, my new email address is omgb@comcast.net.  Earthlink
rained on my parade one too many times.
