As I begin to build my PML Sudden Rush for a NAR L2 certification, I'd like some assistance... Does anybody have any suggestions on testing methods for determining if your ejection charge is sized right?

| Batteries - Another Option | 10 May 2004 14:38 GMT | 2 |
Has anyone ever considered using the rechargeable Versapack batteries in rocketry? These are the ones that power B&D hand tools. They seem relatively compact, can apparently provide a bunch of current (They turn motors nicely) and are about as plentiful as flame posts on RMR.

| Wouldn't this be a good time for negotiations with the BATFE? | 10 May 2004 04:23 GMT | 140 |
You know, it occurs to me that right now would be the best time there could be to have a pow-wow with the BATFE maggots and come up with a solution that satisfies both groups before we have to go through the whole legal muck again.

I was attempting to fly my Aerotech Sumo today on a Aerotech G35-4W. When the launch button was pressed there was a loud pop and that was all. At first I thought it just spit the igniter but when I went to remove the motor, about the back 1 inch of the motor came out with the ...

So I'm almost done with my first scratch built and designed rocket, but have a question. What method would be best to attach 100# test kevlar thread to a 29mm phenolic PML body tube? The rocket is 36" long with a PML urethane nose cone, and TTW fin mounting to a 24mm MMT. The ...
