My rocket room went bye bye thursday morning.  I had twenty built
rockets,(saturn V mercury atlas, mars snopper ii) many noses, tubes other parts
many motors, unbuild sentinal, optama, solar sailor ii C express and others.  I
had estes catlogs back to 1975 and instruction fin ...

Was real excited to watch LDRS on the Discovery channel a few months
ago. The multi-part show had everything from a flying outhouse to the
most launches at one time.

What is/was the biggest professionally manufactured,  commonly retailed BP
engine? I actually flew an FSI Mach One Dart, which used the F-100 booster
motor (with fins glued to the casing as per the directions), I forget the upper
stage motor. I don't know if it went supersonic, but ...

I see in the news today that a hotel in Iraq was attacked with a
terrorist's home built Multiple Launch Rocket System.  While this one
looked a little better than the unit tied to the back of a donkey last

The day started out quite disorganized. I'm not saying that it was a bad
thing, just that it took awhile to get started. Once they got the name
badges and the registration line got to a reasonable length, things went
smoother.

This was just too funny to not share. I guess they should have paid
attention to the ATF attempts to launch rockets from vans! LOL!

I know I am going to step in it here, but there are some things about this
subject that need to be said.
I agree that model and high-power rockets, lacking a guidance system, are
useless as a battlefield weapon.  They are far too inaccurate to be of any
